Global Palestinian star Omar Kamal from Nabulus gets ready to release his debut album, titled “Serenade”.

Born in 1992, Omar spent his early years listening to classical and world music and playing the piano until he discovered his life-long passion, singing. Omar’s multi-cultural influences have given him a rich taste in music ranging from Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, to Arabic idols such as Mohammed Abdel Wahab, Fairuz, Umm Kultum and even modern trendsetters like The Weeknd.

Omar’s incredible talent to sing in Italian, Arabic, English as well as play the piano caught the attention of Sony Music Entertainment Middle East. He was immediately signed to a multi-year deal and set about working with some of the best international producers to create a modern album of classical and contemporary hits.

Omar’s single ‘Love Never Felt So Good’ showcases the powerhouse vocals that Omar has been blessed with, it is a classic take on the Michael Jackson hit. With a perfectly fitted video to go alongside the track, with a vintage, retro feel, it complements the vocals extremely well, what makes the track even more special is that Omar works with the same guitarist that worked on Michael Jackson’s ‘Dangerous’ album – the legend that is Tim Pierce. Louis Tomlinson and Steve Aoki premiered their new song “Just Hold On” on The X Factor UK stage at London’s Wembley Arena Saturday night (Dec. 10).

This performance comes a few days after Louis lost his mother, Johannah Deakin, to cancer. Ex-bandmate, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne where all there backstage to support Louis

“It’s not over until it’s all been said,” sings Tomlinson on the track. “It’s not over until your dying breath. So what do you want them to say when you’re gone? That you gave up or that you kept going on? What do you do when a chapter ends? Do you close the book and never read it again? Where do you go when your story’s done? You can be who you were or who you’ll become.”

“Just Hold On,” released on Ultra, was written by Tomlinson, Aoki, Eric Rosse, Sasha Sloan and Sir Nolan and produced by Aoki. Watch the performance below!

The Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival is about to get extra special with Latin Legend Enrique Iglesias in town.

Enrique Iglesias will be performing on the third night of the festival, 24 February 2017.

This is not the first time, Enrique was in the UAE – he performed at the after-race concert for the F1 last year, and also ran through his early hits at a concert at Dubai World Trade Centre in 2012.

The5 performed at “Beats On The Beach” last Friday (November 25th 2016) for the first time in the UAE and their performance further emphasized in a way their presence as the Arab world’s biggest boy band.

The song increased in overall and both Spotify and Filtr playlist streams during the past week climbing up #6 on the Global Spotify charts.

Hitmaker and Grammy Award winner Pitbull is performing tonight (November 24) at the Yasalam after-race concerts at Formula 1 Abu Dhabi 2016. The “Can’t Have” and “Greenlight” artist will start off the Grand Prix weekend’s after-race line-up at du Arena.

– New Release “La Bezzaf” Drops Today

Following a string of thrilling releases and summertime projects, the season is far from over for The5.

“La Bezzaf” (Moroccan slang used when something is a bit too much to handle) was penned as a lighthearted account of finally trying to confront “that girl next door”. It represents a mixture of the band members’ regional and international influences, and marks the next leap in progression of The5’s music.

With its blend of various musical styles, a mature sound and lyrics and music written by the band members themselves, the song features a playful Moroccan vibe, an unforgettable, infectious hook, and all of the boys’ own dialects – making it truly accessible to everyone across the region!

The new single is accompanied by a unique music video, and is as fun and engaging as its melody. Merging real footage with 2D animation and directed by the talented Fares Sokhon, the clip follows the band as they make their way through the backstreets of Beirut, cheekily taking their audience on the chase for the girl, and offering a glimpse into each of their own personalities along the way. Recorded in Sweden earlier this year, Beirut and Stockholm teams collaborated together to get the right mix for what promises to be The5’s biggest single of 2016.

“La Bezzaf” dropped on all streaming platforms, radio and TV stations today, with the music video premiering on Vevo at 09:00 AM UAE time.

The5 have recently dropped their YouTube series, “The5Fridays” on their channel, The5 Official. Fans will get to follow the band around as they go on tour, hit the gym and sing songs by the ocean.

Hot on the heels of performances at RedfestDXB and the NRJ Music Tour Beirut – the Middle East’s biggest pop festivals – and a successful promo tour in Turkey, Nathalie Saba just performed at Room,  an intimate live set in her very own hometown.

The night’s performance will showcase tracks from “This Is Me”, her recently-released EP, which has been charting to notable acclaim across the region. Nathalie will enthrall the audience with live renditions of the tracks from the record, including “Snow”, “Black Birds” and “Young Hearts”, as well as covers of songs by renowned artists from across the Arab world and beyond.

She will be joined on stage by Yasser Hasheesh on guitars, percussionist Hussein ElMeligy, and Seka on bass. The three are some of Cairo’s finest musicians, having performed with the likes of Dina ElWedidi, Shereen Abdo, and Carmen Soliman.
